Saints alive
A friend says she heard a woman who survived Hurricane Katrina say on TV that she and the members of her community wouldn't have been able to make it without the help of two churches who came to their aid: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Mormon Church.
(For those of you who don't know, "Mormon" is the nickname for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).

Catchy title for that post. Whenever I see the expression "Saints Alive," I immediately think of Ed Decker and others like him. It was nice to see it used in a more complimentary way here.
As for Mr. Decker, by the way, if he is indeed a Christian, as he professes, then he honors me with his accusation that I am not. If being a Christian requires me to be like Ed Decker, I don't want to be one at all.
