Barack as the Messiah

I will not be voting for Barack Obama in this year's Presidential election; and in fact, the more I see and think of him, the less he impresses me. But in saying that, I am apparently going against the grain of public opinion. Meanwhile, Jonah Goldberg, who is always good, was at his best in this article about the religious overtones of Obamamania. I post it here because (1) it reflects my own views quite accurately, and (2) it does so in an amusing way.
