Sounds like German, it does

I served an LDS mission in Germany 1976-78. Donald Sensing has a humorous piece (quoting Mark Twain and gleaned from his own past) about the German language. That Yoda from the Fatherland was he now concludes.

"The Awful German Language" was one of my favorite Mark Twain pieces, and this one is a worthy successor. It had me in stitches. One needs to have some familiarity with German in order to appreciate it fully, but I took a year of it in college, and in addition, of course, have visited the Fatherland.

I especially liked Nixon saying "I a Notcrook am."

My only Criticism of this Humorpiece is that in Germanlanguage all Words with Capitalletters written are, and by Herr Sensing this was done not -- an Error most egregious, in my Opinion.
